SearStone is destined to be a continuing care retirement community truly unlike any other. Built on the remaining 75 acres of an historic family farm in western Wake County, this new urbanist community reflects the dream of the land owner for an elegant, vibrant living environment for seniors.

The first phase on 25 acres will have 42 "cottage" homes and 171 residences in multi-story buildings. It will also have an elegant clubhouse/activity center and an on-site health center. Adjacent to the CCRC, the land owner is sponsoring the development of a 16 acre multi-use retail/commercial center in the village style. Subsequent phases have been master planned for up to 400 residences in the CCRC and other "active adult" residences on adjacent property.
